Dr. Sarah Silverberg is a pediatric infectious diseases physician, PhD student in clinical epidemiology and health care research at the Institute for Health Management, Policy and Evaluation at the University of Toronto and Leong Scholar at the Edwin S. H. Leong Centre for Healthy Children at the University of Toronto. She completed her medical school at the University of Toronto, pediatrics residency at the University of British Columbia and BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, and infectious diseases fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.

Her research bridges clinical pediatric infectious diseases, epidemiology and public health. Her PhD focus is on evaluating the implementation and impact of novel immunoprophylaxis products for infant respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Sarah hopes that her work will help inform vaccination policy and shed light on the socioeconomic barriers faced in accessing population-wide programs.
