The Conference Organizing Committee is seeking nominations for two important awards: John Waters Memorial Award & Distinguished Lecture in Canadian Immunization Award.

John Waters Memorial Award
The John Waters Memorial Award was initiated in 2002 in recognition of his outstanding leadership in support of immunization programs and policy. The purpose of the Dr. John Waters Memorial Award is to recognize other outstanding contributors to front-line public health and immunization programs, policies and/or advocacy.
Distinguished Lecture in Canadian Immunization Award
Established in 2008, the Distinguished Lecture in Canadian Immunization Award is given to one recipient by the Awards Committee of the Canadian Immunization Conference. The inaugural award was presented to the late Dr. Bernard Duval in recognition of his considerable contribution to immunization programs in Canada and his exceptional career in public health. Nominees should be Canadian residents who have made a sustained, outstanding contribution to the immunization field in Canada in an area such as vaccine research and development, policy, programs, or education
The award recipients will have the opportunity to deliver a plenary lecture at CIC 2016
