| CAIRE is a unique professional organization of Canadian vaccine researchers, formed in December, 2000. |
Many of CAIRE members are involved in applied vaccinology. Applied vaccinology is the downstream portion of the vaccine development pipeline that deals with evaluating new vaccines, building the rationale for new public programs and optimizing public immunization programs. Applied vaccinology involves researchers with a wide range of skills: consequently, it has no single or national home discipline.
CAIRE offers a "second scientific home" to researchers who work in the field of applied vaccinology. Membership is by application. Presently there is no membership fee. |
